Bronx Compass High School
Introducing Virtual Study Hall!
Stevenson Campus closed temporarily, along with all other public schools. ALL INSTRUCTION WILL BE ONLINE/VIRTUAL, ONLY.
As of this morning, the City has now reached the threshold of test positivity citywide and, as a result, the DOE will temporarily close down ALL public school buildings, effective Thursday, November 19. This action, along with other city-wide measures, is a key component to address the concerning rise in COVID-19 transmission rates. This closure of buildings is temporary; we will work diligently alongside other City agencies and every New Yorker to bring this transmission rate back down and get back to in-person learning as quickly and as safely as possible.
*Bronx Compass schedules period 1-8 will remain the same. All classes will be virtual and remote.
Remembering Joey Minyety
The entire Bronx Compass family remembers Senior Joey Minyety, who passed away recently.
Joey was an athlete, artist and scholar with a larger than life personality, who will always be remembered for the joy he brought to all he encountered.
Joey will live on in all our memories, from his amazing Showcase musical performances, his accomplishments on the football field, and brightening all of our classrooms with laughter.
The Class of 2021 lost a friend and a brother far too soon, may he rest in paradise.

Home of the Fearless Dragons
There are so many things that make our Bronx Compass High School Community great. We are a diverse group of individuals who come together to support, learn and grow with each other. With almost 20 different after school clubs, including dance, journalism, video game club and chess, there's something for everyone. In our 2018/19 school year, our dragons went on over 30 cultural, educational, recreational, community service and post-secondary trips to places including Washington D.C., several Broadway shows (Hello Hamilton!) and Pineridge Dude Ranch. Pair all this with our focus on academics and administering to the whole student, Bronx Compass is the place to be!
Stick around, explore a little and watch us spread our wings.
