COLLEGE AND CAREER PATHWAYS

At Bronx Compass High School, our College and Career Pathways
program is all about helping every student get ready for life after
high school. We offer exciting opportunities like College Now
courses, volunteer experiences, paid internships, college fairs,
career counseling, SAT tutoring, college trips, and trade programs —
all designed to help students explore their passions and build a
strong future.

College and Career Pathway’s Timeline

September: College Now, AP’s, Internships, Volunteering, College Trips/Fairs, Personal
Statement Season, applying to POSSE, QUESTBRIDGE, and Macaulay Honors Programs
October: College Applications and College Spirit Week
November: Career Counseling and Career Inventory Assessments, Early
Decision/Action Applications, School wide College Fair
December: Financial Aid workshops for students and parents + finalizing scholarship
applications
January: Career Lesson Push in’s (Financial Literacy and Resume Building), SAT PREP
February: Pathway’s Vision Board Activity, Private and SUNY’s College Trips
March: 9-11 1:1 College and Career counseling check ins, SAT PREP

April: Trade School applications and opportunities, SAT EXAMS
May: College Decision Day
June: Building Bridges for 12 graders to college and career- submitting all necessary
documents to set students up for success in their next milestone in life
